Wondering what your season might look like if your team is being affected by Covid-19? FIRST has THIS WEBPAGE to help your navigate teams and events in the age of Covid. This includes info on the Remote Event Hub.
FIRST® and LEGO® Education have been made aware that some of the 3M™ Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fasteners included in the RePLAY Challenge Sets, generously donated by FIRST LEGO League sponsor 3M, was damaged by an outside converter during the die cutting process. The damaged material may not attach the models as securely to the mat as intended, which may cause problems during field set-up or the Robot Game itself. We want every piece of FIRST LEGO League equipment to live up to our high-quality standards and are working quickly to find a suitable solution. Although some of you may experience the issue, we ask you to please carry on with the RePLAY season until we provide further guidance or information.
To assist with remote participation registered teams will be allowed this season to order one additional RePLAYSM Challenge set for $75 and/or one additional PLAYMAKERSSM Explore set for $35 (Your first Explore set is included with $99 registration fee). Applicable sales tax and shipping fees will be added to each order. This function will be available on the FIRST store beginning August 27.
We recognize that during the FIRST® GAME CHANGERSSM powered by Star Wars: Force for Change: season for 2020 – 2021 there will certainly be a variety of scenarios and issues that arise that make a normal FIRST experience challenging. The guidance provided allows for an à la carte series of options separated into specific categories from which you can put together to assist with participation this season.
